The Lord Is Sending a Release: You Will Be Light Again

This morning I awoke from a dream with a strong word in my spirit. The Lord is sending a release to His people.

Many have carried pain from one season into another. Old wounds, disappointments, betrayals, grief, and heartbreak have remained within the soul for far too long. While life has moved forward, the soul has often remained connected to moments that should have been healed years ago.

As I reflected on the dream, the Lord showed me that many believers have become burdened in their souls. There are things they have experienced that they never truly released. There are hurts that have been stored away. There are tears that were never fully processed. There are disappointments that have quietly remained hidden in the depths of the heart.

The picture that came to me was that of someone who is backed up. There is no release. Everything remains trapped inside.

In the same way, many people have become spiritually and emotionally burdened because the soul has been carrying what God never intended it to carry for so long.

But the Lord is sending a release.

God is releasing His people from old pain. He is releasing His people from the weight of former seasons. He is releasing His people from the memories that have continued to influence their present. He is healing the wounds that have remained beneath the surface.

I sensed the Lord saying, "You will not carry the pain of your past into the future I have prepared for you."

There is a cleansing taking place in the soul. God is removing bitterness. He is removing grief. He is removing disappointment. He is removing the weight of offenses and the burden of past failures.

The Lord is making room.

Room for peace.

Room for joy.

Room for faith.

Room for purpose.

But as there is release, there is also repentance.

The Lord is calling His people to repent for the things they have allowed to remain within their hearts. Repentance for harboring bitterness. Repentance for holding on to anger. Repentance for nurturing frustration. Repentance for keeping record of wrongs and allowing past wounds to shape present attitudes.

Many have been hurt, but God is not only healing the wound. He is also dealing with what the wound produced.

Some wounds produced bitterness. Some produced resentment. Some produced distrust. Some produced hardness of heart.

The Lord is lovingly calling His people to lay these things down before Him. As healing comes, repentance must come also. As God releases us from what hurt us, we must release those who hurt us.

The Lord is not bringing conviction to condemn His people. He is bringing conviction to free them.

Many have been asking God for the next season while still carrying the weight of the previous one. Yet God, in His mercy, is bringing healing before promotion and restoration before expansion.

There is freedom coming to many who have felt stuck. There is healing coming to many who have carried silent pain. There is deliverance coming to many who have struggled to move beyond what happened to them.

The Lord is restoring the soul.

What has remained trapped for years can be released in a moment through the power of God. What has caused pain for a long time can be healed by one touch from His hand.

Do not be surprised if you find yourself weeping before the Lord in the coming days. Do not be surprised if memories surface that you thought were forgotten. God is not bringing them up to wound you again. He is bringing them up so He can heal them completely.

The Lord is sending a release.

The burden is lifting.

The weight is coming off.

The heaviness is leaving.

And many who have felt weighed down for years will become light again.

They will laugh again.

They will dream again.

They will hope again.

They will worship again with freedom.

They will walk with a renewed strength and joy that they have not felt in a long time.

What once felt heavy will no longer have power over them. What once consumed their thoughts will lose its grip. What once seemed impossible to overcome will become a testimony of God's healing power.

The soul is being restored.

The heart is being healed.

The burden is being lifted.

The chains are being broken.

And God's people will move into their future lighter, freer, whole, and ready for all that He has prepared for them.

The Lord is sending a release.

And you will be light again.
